It’s Almost Time
to go and get Betsy Ye!
Wendy and I sat in amongst about 12 families with adopted daughters during breakfast this morning (she met them all … surprised?). The hotel is really well set up for this sort of thing with basically every table in the non-smoking section having a high chair pulled up by default. The food, in case you were wondering, was absolutely outstanding. I’ll be fat by the time we get back.
We’ve been out buying formula and a thermos for the hot water to mix it with this morning. The first one didn’t work out (oh, well, $1.50 cents down the drain), but we’re hoping for better results with the next one. The girls like their formula very hot. In fact, one of the couples this morning recommended about the same temperature as a cup of coffe. Sheesh!
I’m trying to upload pictures to my flickr account and to the web site directly, with not much luck. Oh, well, I’ll just keep trying.

We are all so excited for you and can’t wait to meet our new cousin, Betsy Ye! Give her a hug for us and enjoy your time in China. You can always lose weight later :o)

Yea, the breakfasts there were very good…one day when I went down to eat breakfast at the White Swan I brought my video camera stuff with me. I put it in one of the seats at the table. I got up to get some breakfast and when I came back the attendants had taken a cloth and covered my camera equipment…..not sure if they were hiding it to preserve the “sanctity” of their 5 star hotel or if they did it to keep it from being seen and stolen…..

Happy Easter! Our thoughts and prayer continue- It is 12:50 afternoon- 3:00 o’clock is approaching- I find myself looking at the clock- You’d think I was recieving a new member of my family-well I am in the family of Christ!!!! Christ is Great!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

Hi Y’all. Happy Easter! I bet by now you are holding your precious “happy coconut tree” in your arms just like I am holding my precious Chun-Chang in mine. Today was Lily Jewel’s first Easter and she was so happy. Must be because she knows Betsy Ye is coming home soon. God bless and enjoy. The wait is finally over. Deborah
